Contractor Assistance Program Print

The purpose of the MISS DIG SYSTEM, INC. Contractor Assistance Program is to aid contractors with any problems they might experience complying with Public Act 53

PROCEDURES FOR THE CONTRACTOR:

  1. Indicate the date and MISS DIG Ticket number, which was issued at the time the order was placed.
  2. Indicate the County, City, Village or Township where the work was performed.
  3. Indicate the name of the contractor requiring assistance and the telephone number and email address at which the contractor can be reached Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
  4. Provide the contractor's company address.
  5. Clearly and precisely identify the problem the contractor is experiencing (e.g. improper staking, no response) and identify the utility.

PROCEDURES FOR MISS DIG:

  1. Upon receiving the CAP form, the MISS DIG System will notify the affected utility of the problem.
  2. The affected utility company will then investigate and respond directly to the contractor.
